Current Creek Camping

 Every summer we join my sister and their friends for what they call the Annual Crawdad boil.  We didn't actually go and catch Crawdads this year but we did have good food, with good friends, and a good time.

Fischer is quite sweet on Gracie and she is super sweet on him too. They've been good friends for a while. Broody was a new friend he met and the two of them were competing for Gracie's attention showing off their new found skills and tricks. They all got along great and had so much fun.  Whenever we couldn't find Fischer we knew he was hanging out at Gracie's camp. 

 The night sky was beautiful however our first night was a bit upsetting and I was sure we would be clearing up and heading home at sunlight.  Griffin failed to tell a parent he needed to use the bathroom during the night and instead chose to drop his pants in the tent and pee all over everyone and everything.  He was hardly coherent as we were screaming at him.  Fischer got the brunt of it and we did the best we could to clean it up in the pitch black dark of the night.   The next morning we were feeling a bit more pleasant. Wiped out the tent and removed any items that had been peed on.

Griffin was helping Paige pick flowers. 

Griffin surprised me by bringing me some flowers of my own.

 Karl took the two older boys fishing one on one.  He didn't think to get one of him and Griffin so I don't have a picture of them.  When he took Fischer I had dropped them off near where they wanted to fish and was able to snap one of them.

 Later that day we went to the lake with everyone to have fun and play in the water.

 Karl took Drake out on the stand up board. 

 Fischer also wanted to try the stand up board so Karl took him out as well.

Karl decided to jump in the water to cool down and about knocked Fischer off as well but he managed to stay on.

So glad we get to make such fun memories for the boys. They loved it and can't wait to go again.
