Kaylee & Nick's Wedding

On July 21st we got the pleasure of celebrating Kaylee and Nick's wedding.  The bride was beautiful, the groom was smiling from ear to ear.  We are so happy for the two of them.
The day started with the wedding ceremony at Jordan River Temple.  It was really beautiful to see these two get married for time and all eternity.  It reminded me of the day Karl and I made those same covenants and promises.
Afterwords we had a luncheon at a local church

Fischer was patiently waiting for his food.
The kids decided to play a game of ring around the rosies.
Later that night we all met up at the Carmelle Reception Center for the Reception.

Fischer was nice enough to hold my shoes for me throughout the night.  After pictures I actually changed into  some sandals.

Fischer gave this wedding two thumbs up

Cowabunga Bay

We have been having so much fun this summer with friends and family around.  We were able to go to Cowabunga Bay.  Fischer loved it and had no fear. He had a grin on his face when we arrived to when we left.

Good Dog

How do you know when you have a good dog....
When your two year old uses her for a seat cushion and even though you can tell she's not thrilled with it, she sits there and takes it.  We sure love our Sadie pup.  She truly is a great dog.

Slip n' Slide

It's not often that Fischer gets to hang out with all of his cousins on the Andreason side.  We have been lucky to have my sister and her family visiting this summer.  He has loved getting to hang out and play with his cousins and his Aunt and Uncle that he doesn't get to see very often.

Happy 4th

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We certainly did.  We enjoyed the 4th with family and friends.   We started the celebrations by meeting up with Karl's side of the family up at Bridal Vail Falls.
Fischer and his cousins from Oregon.

Yum!
After a quick bite to eat we all hiked up the trail to the waterfall. At the base of the waterfall they have a little pool with fish that they let people feed.  Fischer and the other kids seem to enjoy feeding the fish.

Grandpa Mike was nice enough to take Fischer wading in the stream.

Afterwords we left and went to the my side for a family BBQ. It was Yummy.  My compliments to the sexy chef (aka: my Dad)
What's a family BBQ without homemade Rootbeer and Cream Soda?
That night we had family and friends stop by our house to light some fireworks.  As you can see from the picture below Fischer was not the biggest fan of the fireworks.  He kept hiding his face behind his hands and closing his eyes.

It was fun having all our neighbors, family, and friends stop by and enjoy the holiday with us.  We hope this is a tradition we can continue doing for years to come.

Camping At Strawberry

This last weekend we were able to go and join with some family and friends at the Annual "Crawdad Fest" or so they call it.  It was fun hanging out with everyone.  Fischer had a blast and wanted to fish non-stop (Which will explain all the fishing photos).
The first night we arrived, as soon as we had camp set up, Fischer asked his dad to take him fishing.  Karl of course couldn't tell him no.

And of course it wouldn't be camping without Karl teaching Fischer the proper technique of peeing in a bush.
The next day Fischer and I hung around the campground a bit and let him play with his cousin while Karl met up with some people to go fishing himself.  Karl unfortunately had the camera so I didn't get any pictures of Fischer and the kids playing.  That night we did the famous Crawdad  boil.  The older kids had spent the day catching crawdads down by the lake which they then boil up with a bunch of other yummy food.
After dinner Fischer once again had to go fishing with Daddy.
