Puppy Cake

I had SO much fun making this puppy cake for my niece's birthday.  I think he turned out really cute.  I also love that I got to practice my flower making skills as well.  I have all boys so getting to do a cake with even a few flowers was a highlight for me.

Heber Creeper Train Ride

For this year's summer party my grandparents rented a car on the Heber Creeper Train.  The kids loved it! We got to enjoy catching up with people I don't see often, see beautiful Provo Canyon, and enjoying the live entertainment that was provided.

We were glad Maddie got to come since her family wasn't able to make it due to her brother's tae-kwon-do test.

While on the train we got stopped by bandits looking for the money box.

Enjoying snacks with Grandpa and Grandma

During the ride they had games and all the kids received windmills.

Catching Up

I've been a little behind on the blogging lately so here are a few picture recaps of what we have been doing around the Christensen household.

Brooke and I took the kids to the Curiosity Museum at Thanksgiving Point.  If you haven't been it really is quite the place.  The kids loved it and there was so much to do.  You could spend hours in there checking everything out.
Karl and Andy took Maddie and Fischer flyfishing.  They had a great time catching fish and hanging out with 'dad'
I got to make this fun Minnie Mouse cake for one of my best friend's daughter.
Griffin discovered he likes licking and sucking his big toe.  I think it's gross but mostly because I've seen how dirty his feet can get.
Karl was nice enough to paint my front door for me.  I've been wanting it done for sometime and love the way the new color compliments the rest of the house.  So much better then my old white door.

The kids and I got to watch Cash, my Sister-in-laws puppy, while they were on vacation. The kids loved having a puppy around the house.

Team Pictures and Last Game

Fischer played his last soccer game for the season the other day.  I was SOOO proud of him, not only did he play hard, but he scored two of the four goals for his team.

TEAM PICTURES

Fischer's Coach was great.  He tried to make sure all the kids got equal playing time.  Definitely not an easy job coaching 4 and 5 year olds but he was so good with all the kids.
Getting a few pictures before his last game.

After the game each of the kids got a medal.  Fischer was SO excited.  "I never won a medal before!"
