A Day in Pink

A couple weeks ago a close friend of mine lost her 22 month old daughter in a tragic accident.  My heart is broken for my friend and her family.  We are all saddened by the loss of sweet Aurora.  I was not able to attend her funeral as she currently lives in Texas but the boys and I honored her by wearing her favorite color, pink, on the day of her funeral. Here are a few of our snapshots.

Fischer's New Scooter

Fischer has been saving up for a new scooter since his last one broke.  He was super excited when he had finally earned enough and it came.

Everyday Happenings

Boys decided a movie night was needed so they gathered every pillow they could find to make the comfiest seat in the house.

Swim

I signed up the boys for another round of swim lessons.  They have all been doing so great.

Sugar Powder Baby

This boy discovered my sugar powder swifter.  He loved it.

Dirty Boys

All my boys seem to have dirt constantly stuck to them but these two seem to have dirt glued to them at all times.  Just how it goes when you live in a houseful of boys.

4th of July Fun

We spent the Independence Day holiday at my parents.  We got together that afternoon where the kids had a blast throwing water balloons at each other and engaging in an all day all out water-fight.

Drake got sprayed and didn't like it much.  He didn't complain long as he was right back at it in a matter of seconds.

That night we did some fireworks.  Didn't think to get pictures except for this one of Fischer and his sparkler. Griffin didn't want to do one and Drake wasn't about the fireworks so I was inside with him during most of it.
