Pumpkin Carving and Decorating

For our Family Home Evening activity we decided to carve pumpkins.  Fischer had been wanting to decorate pumpkins for awhile so he was pretty excited when we finally got to.

Had to laugh when I came down stairs from putting Griffin asleep to find Fischer like this.  I laughed even harder when he woke up and the sandwich was still stuck to his head.  Unfortunately it fell off to quickly for me to get a picture of that as well.

Temple Tuesday's

Living in Utah I am so blessed to live near so many temples.  I love seeing the beauty and peace they bring into our lives.  Over the later half of the summer I wanted to find a way to instill that love for the temples to my children so we started Temple Tuesday's.  On Tuesday's we would visit a different temple and just walk around talking about what we saw and felt.  It was so fun to see Fischer get excited about going to the temple.  He would often smell the "Jesus flowers." We were able to visit the following Temples; Salt Lake, Jordan River, Oquirrh Mountain, Draper, Timpanogos, Bountiful, and Provo. I didn't think to take a picture of all the temples we visited but here are a few of the ones we did.  Once open we hope to visit the Tabernacle temple in Provo and Payson Temple.

Griffin's 1 Year

I LOVE how Griffin's 1 year photos turned out.  I have to give a huge shout out to my sister-in-law for taking pictures of this wiggly one year old.  Can't believe my baby is 1. It was REALLY hard narrowing pictures cause I wanted to post all of them.

Karl decided to get in some last minute fishing before the winter weather hits full swing.  He didn't catch a ton of fish but the couple he did were quite the fish.

Barnyard Fun Party-Griffin Turns 1!!!

Today Griffin celebrated his first birthday.  He was pretty excited and loved looking at all the decorations. We decided to do a barnyard theme. Here are some fun pictures from the party.
