Exciting News-Baby #2

The Christensen's are excited to announce that a new bundle of joy will be joining our family.  Yup, that's right, we are expecting baby #2.  We are excited to be adding to the family.  If you ask Fischer if he's going to be a good big brother he answers with a refirmed "YES!" The baby is scheduled to arrive sometime in October.  So far all is looking well and developing nicely.

Easter Egg Hunt

Every year Great Grandma Clara's place puts on a Easter Egg hunt.  The kids always look forward to it.

After the hunt we always make sure to stop by Great Grandma Clara's place and get a picture with all the kids.

1st Jazz Game

Karl got tickets to go to a Jazz game the other night.  Since I already had plans he decided to take Fischer.  Although you can't tell from this picture, Fischer had a GREAT time.  He was cheering, yelling boo, and clapping when the Jazz made a basket.   Fischer even got to meet "lil bear" (a mini version of the Jazz bear).

Vegas

Karl and I decided to have a quick weekend getaway and head for Vegas.  We had a lot of fun.  We stopped in Mesquite and played a round of golf.

For Christmas I gave Karl the ultimate car experience of a lifetime.  Exotic Raceways.  You pick an exotic car and you get to race it around a race track (I know I'm officially the coolest wife ever).  Karl had a BLAST.  He was like a little kid again.  Grinning from ear to ear.
I figured while there I should at least enjoy the cars a bit too.

Karl is all geared up and ready to drive.
Karl chose to drive the Lamborghini.  This is him cruisin' around the race track.

I also got Karl a ride along with a professional driver.  This is him and the driver speeding down the race way.  This Driver was CRAZY and would skid all over the track.  It was fun to watch.  Definitely an experience I doubt Karl will ever forget.

While in Vegas we also saw Phantom of the Opera, walked the strip and hung around Fremont street.  Vegas is an interesting place and as one local put it, "in Vegas you can be whatever you want to be and nobody cares."

The Big 3-0

I know I'm way behind in my posts.  Life has been crazy and the blog just got put aside.  However, in February I turned 30.  It was a nice birthday.  Karl got me flowers and took me out to dinner.  He also surprised me with Phantom of the Opera tickets in Vegas.  I'm so glad I have such a wonderful family who loves and cares for me.
