Hair Cut Gone Bad

What happens when you give a 1 year old a hair cut and he doesn't hold still?

 He ends up with a very high hair line.

We had a great Christmas this year.  It was so nice being able to spend it with family and friends.

12 Months

I can't believe that a year ago today one of my greatest joys in life entered this world.  Today Fischer is 1 year old.  Wow, time really does fly by.  This past year has been SO much fun.  To think of Fischer and how far he has come and all the things he has accomplished just amazes me.  I sure love that kid.  I don't have one year pictures yet but check back soon as they will be coming.  Here are some fun things from the past month.

• He started really crawling and crawls EVERYWHERE.
• He climbs stairs (unfortunately we haven't figured out how to climb down them yet).
• He pulls to a stand and coast along the furniture. 
• His first top tooth came through another one coming soon.  (it's his top side teeth that are coming in so he's going to end up looking like a little vampire).
• He knows where his nose, eyes, and ears are.

My First Birthday Party

On Friday, Mom and Dad threw me my first birthday party!  Mom thought it would be cool to have it be a shapes and colors theme.  The party was a lot of fun and I loved having my friends and family come join me on my big day.  Here's a look at my party:

This is me getting ready for my cake.  I was sure excited. 

Mom thought it would be a good idea to light a candle.  However, what she didn't know was that I would be intrigued by the flame.  So this is me before.

Ouch!  That flame and wax on the candle was hot! 

Once I got over the hurt of my burned finger I thought I would give the cupcake a try. 

This stuff is pretty good.

Beautiful Morning

This morning when I woke up, I looked out my window to find this fabulous, breathtaking view.  It was so pretty.  The picture really doesn't give it justice.

Stembridge Christmas Party

Every year my Mom's family does a Christmas Party up in Kamas.  It was fun seeing Aunts, Uncles, and cousins we don't get to see very often.  Santa also made a visit.  The kids were excited as Santa called their name, let them tell him what they wanted for Christmas, and presented them with a little gift.

Lights

This past Saturday, we got together with some friends and we all decided to go see the lights at Temple square.  We met up South Towne Mall for dinner and then all headed up to Salt Lake to see the lights.  It was alot of fun.
